After a 15‑year hiatus, the Kuwait Society for the Handicapped proudly reintroduces its magazine now renamed Al Mutamayzoon.
Reviving its long‑standing legacy, the publication highlights success stories and key developments in the field of disability care.
The name Al Mutamayzoon reflects our belief in the unique strengths and talents of individuals with disabilities. Our biannual magazine celebrates their achievements, promotes a culture of inclusion, and recognizes the invaluable contributions of our partners.
These editions would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our staff.

The KSH Magazine began publication in the early 1970s with the purpose of raising public awareness about the need for proper care and attention for individuals with special needs.
In its early years, it served partly as a medical journal and donor report. Over time, the magazine evolved to highlight the success stories of students undergoing rehabilitation and to document Kuwait’s progressive adoption of some of the most inclusive policies for people with special needs.
Through its pages, the magazine has showcased the transformation of our students and residents—from individuals who were once overlooked or marginalized to empowered, contributing members of society.
